I'm curious as to whether the groom's mother checks with the bride's mother about wearing complimetary clothing to the wedding? The MIL picked out a shade not even in the same color family as flowers etc.

My Daughter in law has the colors of Rasberry and silver for her wedding. The Mother of the Bride is wearing coral. I would love to wear the cordinating color of Midnight blue. The wedding color and the mother of the brides dress are all hot colors. My daughter in law wants me to wear a watermelon color.

I am getting married in June. My six girls are wearing black tea length halter dresses. My little girls will be in silver. Flowers are mostly red. The soon to be mother-in-law has choosen a black dress as well. I want to find something trendy and stylish but classic. Sleeves are a must. Any suggestions on color, style, designers??? Thanks!
